1. In the following, we inform you about how PALLMANN GmbH processes the personal data that is collected when you visit one of our social media pages.
When you visit one of our social media pages, we, as the operator of the social media page, process your actions on and interactions with us (e.g. the content of messages, requests, posts or comments that you send to us or leave on our social media pages or when you like or share our posts). We also process your publicly visible profile data (e.g. your name and profile picture).
We would like to ask you not to send us any sensitive data or confidential information (e.g. application documents, bank or payment data) on or via social media platforms. Please use our secure options indicated on the website for this purpose.
In the context of operating our social media pages, we process the aforementioned data for the purpose of providing information about us and our products and communicating with you.
This data processing is based on our legitimate interests as mentioned above (Art. 6 para. 1 f.) DSGVO) and, to the extent necessary, to respond to messages, requests, posts or comments sent by you to us (Art. 6 para. 1 b.) DSGVO). We check whether comments or other interactions on our social media pages violate applicable law or the relevant community guidelines and delete offending comments if necessary.
The social media platforms also provide us with anonymized usage statistics (so-called analytics services or page insight data) of our social media pages based on the actions and interactions of our followers (e.g. likes, shares, comments, etc., number of followers, page views by area, reach of a post, and statistics about followers by age, language, origin, or interests). These statistics help us to design our social media pages to be as targeted as possible. We have no influence on the creation and processing of these usage statistics and the underlying data. The creation and processing of these statistics is the sole responsibility of the operator of the respective social media platform and we have no insight into the personal data of individual followers or users. This data processing is based on our aforementioned legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 f.) DSGVO).
We will only process your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the above-mentioned purposes. If you object to processing for the protection of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) f.) DSGVO), we will delete your personal data unless its further processing is permitted under the relevant legal provisions. Likewise, we will delete personal data if we are obliged to do so for other legal reasons. In accordance with these general principles, we generally delete personal data as soon as the legal basis ceases to apply, if it is no longer required for the stated purposes or if the stated purposes cease to apply and no other legal basis exists (e.g. retention periods under commercial and tax law), or otherwise if the other legal basis ceases to app.
2. The operators of the respective social media platforms also process your data.
Personal data about you is processed when you visit a social media site, usually regardless of whether you have a user account on the respective social media platform or are logged in to the respective social media platform; as a rule, there are also cookies and other storage and (in some cases cross-device) tracking technologies. When you visit, your IP address is collected, among other things, as well as other information that is present in the form of cookies on your PC or mobile devices.
It is possible that the social media platforms also create their own personalized usage statistics, for example for their own market research, advertising or other business purposes, in the context of which they may also process personal data outside the European Union, over which we also have no control.
For more information about the processing of your personal data and usage statistics by the respective social media platform, please refer to the privacy notices on the following websites:

Since most social media companies are not headquartered in Europe and most servers are not located in Europe, it can be assumed that your data is distributed on servers all over the world. A transfer of data to the USA and access by US authorities to the stored data cannot be ruled out. The USA is currently considered a third country from a data protection perspective. You do not have the same rights there as within the EU/EEA. You may not be entitled to any legal remedies against access by authorities.
3. You have the following rights:

In addition, you can request deletion if your data is processed on the basis of your consent and you revoke this consent.
- Right to restriction of processing: you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your data if the conditions set out in Article 18 GDPR are met. This is the case, for example, if you dispute the accuracy of your data. You may request the restriction of processing for the period during which the accuracy of the data is verified.
- Right to object: If the processing is based on an overriding legitimate interest, you have the right to object to the processing of your data. In addition, you have the right to object to data processing for direct marketing purposes. This also applies to profiling if this is linked to direct marketing.
- Right to data portability: you have the right to receive your data in a structured, common and machine-readable format and to transfer the data to another data processor, provided that the data processing is based on consent or contract performance and automated processing methods are used.
- Right to withdraw consent: If the data processing is based on consent, you have the right to revoke your consent to data processing with effect for the future at any time and free of charge.
- Right to complain: You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data.
With regard to data processing by PALLMANN GmbH, you may assert your aforementioned rights free of charge against PALLMANN GmbH at any time. With regard to data processing by the operator of the respective social media platform, you may assert your aforementioned rights free of charge at any time against the respective operator.
