Conditions of Participation Magic Oil Wood Floor World Cup

The competition is organised by PALLMANN GmbH, Im Kreuz 6 in 97076 Würzburg.
 

Entitlement to participate

Every wood floor laying company and every floor-laying contractor who uses at least one PALLMANN product from the MAGIC OIL family* in his business is eligible to participate ("Participant").
Eligibility is limited to the following countries: Germany, Austria, France, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Belgium, Croatia, Uruguay, United Kingdom, USA, Poland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Finland, Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Georgia, New Zealand, Australia, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Hungary, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia.
 

Requirements

In the competition, participants are invited to send in pictures of their MAGIC OIL object that give an overall impression of their craftsmanship and the finished surface ("Entries"). The pictures can be sent via the online form at www.woodfloorworldcup.com. It is not permitted to send in more than one entry.
 

Boundary conditions

By participating, the participant grants PALLMANN GmbH the irrevocable right of unlimited use, storage and utilisation in terms of time and place of all photos submitted within the scope of this competition. PALLMANN GmbH shall receive the rights without restriction, also for repeated utilisation by all known types of use, publication, publication purposes, on the Internet as well as for presentation at events. By participating, the participant confirms that he/she is entitled to grant the aforementioned rights of use and in this respect indemnifies PALLMANN GmbH against claims by third parties. PALLMANN GmbH may only pass on or sub-license the rights of use granted in this way to companies affiliated in accordance with § 15 of the German Stock Corporation Act (AktG); passing on or sub-licensing to other third parties is excluded. The participant shall not receive any remuneration for the granting of these rights of use. PALLMANN GmbH will use the data of the participants submitted within the scope of this competition exclusively for the implementation of the photo campaign and the resulting publications.
 

Determination of the winner

By 31.05.2024, a country will be chosen from all entries by an international jury of experts from PALLMANN GmbH as the winner of the MAGIC OIL WOOD FLOOR WORLD CUPS according to defined and published criteria. All participants who have their headquarters in this country belong to the winning country. In order to reach the final round as a country team, at least three entries with projects from three different companies are required. By 30.06.2024 at the latest, all participants of the winning country will be informed personally by PALLMANN GmbH and announced on the PALLMANN website. All participating companies (one person per company) of the winning country will be invited by PALLMANN GmbH to a one-day team event in the winning country. With the invitation, the participants will be provided with all necessary information on the procedure and location of the event.
 

Data privacy

For the implementation of the competition, PALLMANN GmbH processes certain personal data of the participants, such as first name, surname, photo (image of the participant), address, telephone number or e-mail address. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, because PALLMANN GmbH has a legitimate interest in recognising multiple entries and attempts at fraud, as well as in identifying a contact person to contact for prize notification. Personal data provided to PALLMANN GmbH in the context of the competition will be stored, processed and used by PALLMANN GmbH and, if applicable, by cooperation partners (e.g. internet agencies) on behalf of PALLMANN GmbH exclusively for the purpose of conducting and handling the competition. The data will not be passed on to other third parties. The data protection officer can be reached at the e-mail address datenschutz(at)pallmann.net.
The participant agrees that his/her submitted photo, name and home country may be published in print media and on the websites of PALLMANN GmbH as well as on social media channels such as Facebook or Instagram as part of the competition. All other data will be deleted after the competition has been completed.

As data subjects, participants are entitled to the rights set out in the GDPR, in particular the right to information, deletion, correction, restriction of processing and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. For deletion, an informal message by e-mail to: wfwc(at)pallmann.net or by fax to: +49 931 27964-68 is sufficient. If the request for deletion of data is made before the end of the competition, further participation in the competition is no longer possible. The legal process is excluded. The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply.
